Smart dimming glass: WO₃ can be used as a key material for electrochromic films to achieve reversible conversion between transparent and light-shielding states.
Gas sensor: WO₃ film has good sensitivity and responsiveness to gases such as NO₂ and NH₃.
Optoelectronic devices: used as buffer layer or electrode interface layer in devices such as solar cells and photodetectors.
Photocatalysis: widely used in visible light catalytic degradation of pollutants, decomposition of water to produce hydrogen and other fields.
