Our Research & Development team is the driving force behind ULPMAT’s innovation and technological advancement. Comprising highly skilled PhDs and Master’s degree holders, the team possesses extensive expertise in materials science, thin film technology, and inorganic compounds. They are dedicated to developing cutting-edge products that meet evolving market demands and to advancing existing material production technologies.
ULPMAT specializes in the custom synthesis of high-challenge materials, with particular strengths in rotary targets, semiconductor materials, chalcogenide compounds, battery doping materials, and perovskite materials. Our R&D team engages in in-depth scientific discussions with clients to precisely identify their needs and meet diverse product requirements through synthesis and the optimization of various process parameters.
To ensure strict quality control, our R&D laboratory is equipped with advanced instruments such as ICP spectrometer, particle size analyzer, SEM, C/S analyzer, XRD equipment, sieving machines, and glove boxes. We collaborate closely with leading universities and research institutions to stay at the forefront of industry trends and innovations.

ULPMAT operates a highly efficient and controlled production system, forming the backbone of our ability to deliver consistent quality and quickly respond to market demands. Our facility supports lab-scale, pilot-scale, and full-scale production, with a complete workflow from raw material processing and synthesis to sintering, precision machining, and final packaging.
Equipped with advanced technologies—including high-temperature sintering furnaces, CIP/HIP presses, CNC machining, and laser cutting—we achieve high throughput and precise process control. With a focus on manufacturing excellence, ULPMAT delivers high-performance sputtering targets and high-purity materials for semiconductors, optoelectronics, energy, and advanced coatings, ensuring fast turnaround and reliable support for demanding applications.

In the field of advanced materials—where even slight deviations in purity, composition, or structure can significantly impact product performance—rigorous and reliable QC is essential. We do not treat quality as a checkpoint at the end of production, but as a continuous, integrated process that begins with raw materials and extends through every stage of synthesis, processing, and packaging.

Comprehensive QC Processes
We implement strict quality control at every stage of production:
Incoming Material Inspection
All raw materials undergo rigorous inspection to ensure purity, particle size distribution, and chemical composition meet specification before use.
In-Process Monitoring
Key parameters such as temperature, pressure, atmosphere, and reaction time are continuously monitored and recorded to ensure reproducibility and process control.
Final Product Inspection
Each batch is subjected to detailed testing, including physical properties (density, particle size, morphology), chemical purity, phase composition, and surface cleanliness.

Traceability & Documentation
Each production batch is assigned a unique batch number, enabling full traceability from raw materials to finished products. We provide comprehensive Certificates of Analysis (COA) and test reports to ensure transparency and reliability of quality. Additionally, third-party testing can be arranged upon request.
