The SKA (2BV) series is a single-stage, direct-coupled water ring vacuum pump engineered for continuous-duty vacuum service. Its coaxial pump-and-motor configuration provides a compact installation footprint, while the standard mechanical seal supports reliable sealing and simplified maintenance.
A flexible exhaust port helps prevent over-compression and allows the pump to operate efficiently across its performance range.
The SKA (2BV) series is suitable for vacuum evaporation, vacuum concentration, vacuum drying, vacuum impregnation and other process vacuum applications.

The 2SK series is a two-stage water ring vacuum pump designed to provide a higher ultimate vacuum than single-stage configurations, together with high pumping speed in the deep-vacuum zone.
For applications requiring deeper vacuum, the 2SK-P1 atmospheric jet pump units combine the two-stage pump with an atmospheric jet pump and can achieve an ultimate vacuum of -0.099 MPa (approximately -750 mmHg).
The pump uses water as the working fluid, providing a practical solution with low maintenance requirements. Its construction also allows the pump to handle vapour, moisture, small quantities of dust and small liquid carry-over.

Its compression process operates under near-isothermal conditions, making the series particularly suitable for applications involving flammable or explosive gases.
The complete system consists of the pump, coupling, motor, gas-water separator and piping. An automatic overflow switch is used to control the working-water level.

Water ring vacuum pumps use water as the working medium to create a vacuum or provide gas compression.
During operation, the rotating impeller forms a liquid ring inside the pump chamber. The changing volume between the impeller blades and liquid ring creates the pumping action.
This operating principle allows water ring vacuum pumps to handle certain amounts of vapour, moisture and liquid carry-over, making them suitable for wet-process vacuum applications.
For the SK series, the same water-ring principle can be used for both vacuum pumping and compression service.
Choosing the appropriate vacuum pump depends primarily on the required vacuum level, pumping capacity and process conditions.
For general vacuum applications
Choose the SKA (2BV) single-stage series when you need a compact direct-coupled water ring vacuum pump with capacities from 27 to 500 m³/h.
For deeper vacuum requirements
Choose the 2SK two-stage series when higher ultimate vacuum and high pumping speed in the deep-vacuum zone are required.
For even deeper vacuum, the 2SK-P1 atmospheric jet pump configuration is available.
For vacuum + compression applications
Choose the SK series when the system requires both vacuum pumping and gas compression.
For larger pumping capacity
The SK series provides a broad capacity range up to 120 m³/min, while the 2SK series covers up to 30 m³/min.
